Sue Kawczynski is a freelance photographer, specializing in horse racing, as well as live performances by musicians. As a contract photographer for Eclipse Sportswire (www.eclipsesportswire.com), her work is currently seen in Horse Racing Nation and America’s Best Racing/Jockey Club, and supplying racing photos to Getty Images. Her work has also been seen in SI.com, Louisville Courier-Journal, Wall Street Journal, Thoroughbred Times, The Irish Field, The Racing Post (UK), Japanese Racing Association Magazine (JRA), CBS.com, ESPN.com, and Stride Magazine. Sue’s photos have also been used by European sales companies and breeders, such as Le Mezeray and Argance (France), and Tattersalls (Great Britain). Sue's first love is music, and she holds a BA in Music from Herbert H. Lehman College (CUNY), and after 40 years, still performs in working bands today. She specializes in low light situations, and can capture the essence of a musician, whether they perform in the intimate clubs in NYC, or large stages for groups such as Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows and Maroon 5.
