For as long as I can remember I was surrounded by photographs. My grandmother framed all of her photographs big or small and placed them on the walls one by one. Every time we visited another frame was added, we would all look at the pictures one by one all over again as each told a story we would laugh and talk about it, " A picture is worth a thousand words" is TRUE! As I gotten older my love fo

r pictures grew, I would take pictures of everyone and everything in sight, I would use all cameras I laid my hands on whether it was a disposable camera a Polaroid or film. My husband gave me a camera for Christmas and the rest was history! When I opened the camera box I felt so happy, I felt joy, love, gratitude, I wanted a great name to express how I felt about my art, out of thinking and observing for a while I came up with the name, “The Joyful Lens"

There is SO much to be grateful for, life has taught me to listen and be intentional in any and everything that I do, in listening to self it was only right to celebrate myself in a portrait session ✨️

Get your hair done, get your makeup done, buy a new outfit and step in front of the camera!

Take pictures, hang them on the wall, create the album because you deserve it.

You deserve to feel like HER, take your light back
