✨ NEW BLOG POST! ✨

Over Valentine’s Day I spent my day with my favourite things (photography equipment) and did a 2 lighting shoot to test some new lighting set ups I want to use this year!
For the first time I’ve put UNCROPPED images and lighting plans into a blog and write up of the set up, so if you learn by watching other peoples set ups - this is the one for you!

I’m not a ‘model’ so these are very much a collection of ‘photographer testing’ shots but I’m so proud of how much I love learning, why not share em!

Is there something you want to see more of written out? I’d love any feedback etc on the blog as it’s a newer way to me to start chatting about what I love…

I had to do a sliding version of this post although I couldn’t have made the aspect ratio more awkward 😂.

It’s always a fun challenge at ComicCon to see if I can hide the fact it was a con shot, and I feel like this one really works!

This photo was a massive editing challenge, as I took a mostly backlit photo at with the intention of turning it into a cinematic style poster!
I’m so pleased with the result and I think the photo speaks for itself! I’ll do a second post with close ups, but for now - be as obsessulated as I am with this incredible group of cosplayers!

Where’s the maddest place you’ve ever done a photoshoot? And did it go smoothly?

I was very lucky to do not one but TWO massive doctor who location shoots in Wales (number 3 coming soon!) with the most incredible group of cosplayers… if there are any questions you want answering about organising or shooting - let me know! I’ll make a blog post to join this one for more detail…

We got asked to look after K9 for 5 minutes at comic con (genuinely) and naturally turned it into a shoot!
