A few seconds into the song, she rests her head on his shoulder.

For a moment, the room disappears.

No guests. No music. No timeline to follow.

Just a father remembering the little girl who once held his hand to cross the street.

The same hand now holds his shoulder as they turn slowly across the dance floor.

These are the quiet moments that pass quickly on a wedding day.
But they carry a lifetime inside them.

This is why I photograph weddings.

To preserve the moments parents never want to forget and daughters will look back on years from now.

If you’re planning your wedding and want someone who will document moments like this with care, visit my website through the link in my bio.

Let’s talk about how I can serve you on your wedding day.

The wind was strong. The ocean endless. The lighthouse steady behind them.

I was there to film their wedding, but I managed to squeeze off a few frames on Ultramax 400. Film by the water just feels different. The blues deeper. The moments quieter. The first kiss framed by sea and sky.

If you’re planning a wedding that feels this open and alive, I’d love to document it.

Some engagement sessions feel like a preview.

Not of the wedding details.
Not of the timeline.

But of the way you naturally exist together.

Sophia and Scott met me at Winnekenni Castle on a quiet afternoon. The trees were just beginning to turn. The water moved softly behind them. The stone walls held that old New England character that feels timeless.

They walked slowly along the path, shoulders brushing.
They sat at the edge of the dock, close and unhurried.
He looked at her the way you look at someone when you already know you’re choosing them forever.

These particular frames were shot on film. There’s something about film that slows everything down. It honors the quiet. The subtle. The way your hand naturally rests on their shoulder. The way you smile before you even realize you’re smiling.

Your engagement season is different from your wedding day. It’s quieter. Slower. It’s the chapter where you’re still just the two of you, dreaming out loud about what’s coming.

And when your wedding arrives this year, it won’t feel staged. It will feel like stepping into something you’ve already been building together.

If you’re engaged and looking for a photographer who documents your connection as it naturally unfolds, I’d love to talk.

There’s a moment during every ceremony when everything slows down.

Your guests disappear into the background.
The air feels different.
Your partner is the only person in focus.

Emily stood beneath the wooden arch at Las Mañanitas, vows in hand, her voice steady but full of feeling. Chase looked at her the way you hope to be looked at on your wedding day. Around them were the people who shaped their lives. Behind them, the Hudson Valley rolling into the distance.

For a few minutes, the entire world felt still.

I photographed this on my Nikon F100 using Kodacolor 100. Film doesn’t rush a moment. It asks you to slow down. To be intentional. To trust what’s unfolding. The tones feel honest. The light feels real. Just like the commitment being made.

When you think about your ceremony, what do you imagine feeling?
The nerves before you speak.
The relief when you hear “I do.”
The quiet joy of knowing you chose each other.

Your wedding day will move fast. The ceremony will pass in what feels like seconds. My job is to preserve it in a way that brings you back to the way your chest felt in that exact moment.

If you’re engaged and looking for a photographer who documents your day with intention and care, I would love to tell your story.

Right before the ceremony, when the music had already started and everyone else had taken their place, she paused.

Just long enough to peek inside.
Just long enough to take it all in.

The walk to the ceremony isn’t always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s private. Sometimes it’s a deep breath before everything changes.

Grateful to have been able to document this moment while second shooting alongside Sarah Malis ().

Then she turned around and thanked them for showing up, in every season.

These are the moments that steady you before everything begins.

Who would be standing in the room with you?

There’s something about a father and daughter dance that always stops me for a moment.

As parents, especially fathers of daughters, we show up for moments like this knowing time moves fast. Watching them laugh, dance, and hold on just a little longer always makes me imagine my own someday with my girls.

These are the moments that matter. The ones that live far beyond the timeline.

Liam & Andrew’s day was the kind that flows effortlessly.
Getting ready together. Sharing the morning side by side.

From a waterfront ceremony to being introduced straight into their first dance, their wedding was centered on connection and momentum. They cared about the in-between moments. The candids. The way the reception space felt once it filled with the people they love.

This highlight film reflects that rhythm.
Formal, warm, and grounded in what the day actually felt like.
