She was nervous making sure everything was under control. He kept picking up the ringing phone from excited relatives. She kept asking everyone to be present for the big moment. He kept getting corsage adjustments lovingly from his mother standing by his side.
These photos are the captured love, intensity, and emotions of two beautiful people who were so courageously and unapologetically themselves as they welcomed becoming man and wife together. Often with weddings and elopements we’re only given the final visuals and they’re stunning indeed! But so many people focus on only “picture perfect”. Not me, no. That’s not good enough. That’s not the full human experience of getting married and fathoming what this moment holds. It’s exciting, it’s endearing, it’s frightening, it’s weird, it’s miraculous! So, to this magical couple who wanted to combine the timeless aesthetics I bring along with celebrating who THEY are, my answer was simple - “just laugh at each other ” and the rest became history. 📸
