As a 3D artist, I created a mystical character named Jie-ling for my portfolio. Inspired by a girl from Singapore who worked at a zoo, Jie-ling is surrounded by various species of animals, holding a rabbit in her hands to symbolize the Rabbit Year and her personality.
I used Cinema 4D Redshift and custom textures from Procreate to design an extraordinary and magical world.
The result was a beautiful and enchanting world brimming with creatures and stories.
Jie-ling's gentle and positive energy draws animals to her as they sense her kindness and feel safe around her. The rabbit she holds appears content and at ease with Jie-ling, demonstrating the power of kindness and compassion.
Creating this artwork was an incredible journey, and I feel honored to have brought Jie-ling and her world to life. It is a testament to the magic that surrounds us and the importance of recognizing and celebrating it.
