Will + Sheila 💍 Essouiara, Morocco 🇲🇦 6.20.2025

Part II of the wedding celebrations. If I’m honest, I don’t even know where to begin to describe the experience, let alone how grateful I am that Will and Sheila brought me along to capture it all in Morocco.
___

The two celebrated the destination wedding by inviting their closest friends from all over the world to stay in a Villa, for a long weekend in the coastal town of Essaouira. The day of the ceremony, we went to the Medina-Souks for photos. None of us were expecting what would come next. A whole town. Hundreds of Moroccans singing, clapping, dancing, and of course, filming on iPhones that would later be seen all over social media (yes, we went viral). At one point I started taking photos from the front of the couple, and saw a parade of hundreds following along in celebration. It was like nothing I’d ever experienced as a wedding photographer. It was ecstatic.

The next day they had become local celebrities, with people asking to take selfies with them.
___

The wedding weekend was a beautiful part of their journey, celebrating with their closest friends and experiencing Moroccan culture. Thank you Will and Sheila for trusting me to document your love story from behind the lens, in such a picturesque place.
