It’s National Dog Day! Those who know me know I’m constantly saying plzzzz bring your pup to your engagement session haha! I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment (though I had the sweetest pup named Goldy growing up), so it always makes my day to meet them ❤️ They may be a little shy or chaotic during the session but that’s just part of their personality and charm!

Daniel & Lodoe got married at Brooklyn Winery, surrounded by all of their family and friends. Their ceremony and cocktail hour featured traditional Tibetan singers + traditions and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Blended cultures honored and a whole lot of love in the room.
Then the party took over, and this crew danced like they MEANT it.
We feel so incredibly lucky to have been there for it. Also, there was just no way I could squeeze all the amazing moments from this wedding into a tiny carousel, it’s gonna require a blog post haha.

Their engagement session took us to delicious coffee shops, reading books together, the subway, and Brooklyn Bridge Park. Pretty much like a really great date. Today i turn 34. Every year, I feel I become more and more “me”. Less expectations of others and from others, more of who I really am. I think that it ends up contributing to my work as I lean more into imperfection and real moments, into what makes you FEEL. I got to have some amazing moments with people I care about over the past few days celebrating with good food, drinks, gallery hopping, and joy. That’s what it’s all about right? ❤️ here’s to more of that!!
