Took Vern (my 72 year old bestie who I met after being assigned his old phone number) in his first driverless car.! 🚗✨

For someone who has spent decades photographing technology, cars, and moments of change… it felt pretty special.

Vern has always been fascinated by innovation. He’s captured incredible photos of how the world evolves, and this felt like watching another piece of history in real time.

We grabbed dinner afterward and just sat there talking about how much he’s seen change over the years.

Really grateful I got to experience this moment with him!!

Fun fact: this was the first poster that Wernher ever got mass printed in the 1980s! Like many artists who built their careers long before social media, the shift to cell phones and digital marketing has been difficult for him to navigate, and it’s been a real financial challenge in recent years. We created this account to share his stories to a new audience! 🌟
