I think I've put off sharing this wedding for two reasons:
1. I simply cannot find the words to describe the day.
2. I almost want to keep them all to myself!

Sydney found me by way of the universe. On a trip to NYC, I reached out to a few folks to collaborate. One of those gals was Sydney's friend (hi Vic!). She saw the photos and slid into my inbox. She and Max were planning their intimate wedding at Sugarloaf Campground in the Snowy Range in Wyoming, and she was already sold. Our Connection Call ended up getting cut off for talking too long. I immediately fell in love with the two of them and their OBVIOUS love for each other and for life.

I had never been to Wyoming before, so of course, I was thrilled. Growing up in the Appalachian mountains, I was constantly pulling over to look at these giant ROCKS. What do you mean these mountains are basically fresh? Rocks? I saw miles of fields, unaltered by buildings or homes. Rivers, train tracks for days, and more cowboy hats than vehicles. The west vs the south is a fascinating comparison I would love to talk about for hours.

They kept their ceremony to family only, followed by a kitschy, funky reception full of friends and more family. I don't know if I have ever seen a room more filled to the brim with smiles, laughter, and unbelievable love and adoration. Every single person LOVES these two.

I sound like a broken record when I say that I am honored to be part of wedding days. But truly, I am. It's the GREATEST honor to be up close and personal to the most amazing love stories you could imagine. I am so lucky to have found the best couples in the world. All of them adore one another, they love their family, they love to party, and they love to love. What a blessing!

I am looking for a couple to model for an elopement styled shoot in Washington DC on April 19th!

If this is you or someone you know, here is what to expect. The shoot runs from 10 am to 12 pm across a few locations in the city. Models provide their own outfits following my mood board guidelines and will be compensated with a curated mini gallery. Additional images are available for purchase.
