🎣🚤 SENIOR AMBASSADOR #5 | BLAKE 🎓

Meet Blake, my nephew and Senior Ambassador #5 for the Class of 2027! ❤️

Now, I was going to say he rounds out my five Senior Ambassadors… but apparently I can’t count, say no, or stick to my own limits because somehow I ended up with SIX this year. 😂 So Blake is #5 — but stay tuned, because there’s one more coming!

When it came time for his senior pictures, we had to make them feel like him — so naturally, that meant a fishing pole, a boat, and being out on the water. 🎣🌊

Being his photographer is pretty awesome, but being his aunt is even better. I’ve had the privilege of watching Blake grow from a little boy into the young man standing in front of my camera now, and I’m still not sure who gave him permission to grow up this fast. 🥹

I may be a slightly biased aunt, but I’m incredibly proud of the young man he has become. Getting to capture this milestone AND have him represent Small Town Photography as one of my 2027 Senior Ambassadors makes this year even more special.

Blake, I hope your senior year is filled with great memories, plenty of time on the water, some really big catches, and enough patience to tolerate Aunt Michelle taking approximately 472 more pictures of you before graduation. 😂❤️

✨ THEY’RE MARRIED! ✨

Today was all about love, laughter, happy tears, and the beginning of a brand-new chapter. 🤍💍

After sharing their engagement photos this morning and counting down to this moment, I’m so excited to officially say THEY DID IT! 🥂

It was such an honor getting to capture their wedding day and all of the little moments in between — the nerves, the smiles, the way they looked at each other, and the celebration with the people who love them most.

I couldn’t resist sharing a few sneak peeks from today because these two were absolutely incredible in front of my camera. 📸✨

We’ve been looking forward to this one, and today is finally here! 🥂✨

There’s just something extra special about getting to photograph a couple during this season of their lives—from the excitement leading up to the wedding to all of the beautiful moments that make up the big day.

📸 Your Photos. Your Family. Your Choice. 🤍

Something that is incredibly important to me as a photographer is the trust my clients place in me.

While my photography contract includes a model release that allows me to share images from sessions on my business page, website, and other marketing platforms, I still make it a point to ask permission before I post — every single time.

Why? Because just because I can share an image doesn’t mean I should assume that you’re comfortable with it.

Especially when it comes to your children. 🤍

There are so many reasons a family may choose to keep their photos private, and you never owe me an explanation. Whether it’s a personal preference, a custody situation, privacy concerns, foster/adoption circumstances, safety, or simply wanting those memories kept within your family — I will respect that.

And I also understand that circumstances can change.

If you have previously given me permission to share your images and, for any reason, you are no longer comfortable with them being posted, please reach out to me. If you would like an image removed or your child’s face covered, I will gladly take care of it. You do not need to explain or justify your decision.

My clients aren’t just content for my social media. You are families who have trusted me to capture some of the most important people and moments in your lives.

I will always take that responsibility seriously.

Your privacy matters.
Your children’s privacy matters.
Your trust matters.

And no amount of likes, shares, or engagement will ever be more important to me than protecting the people who trust me behind my camera. 🤍📸

I’m so excited to officially introduce Emma, Cait’s 3rd Senior Ambassador! 🤍

Emma’s session was everything a senior session should be fun, relaxed, natural, and filled with so many genuine smiles. We spent the day exploring, laughing, and capturing her personality in a way that felt completely her. Some weddings just deserve to be shared again. 🤍🌈

Back in October 2024, I had the absolute honor of photographing this beautiful wedding at Raven's Glenn Winery & Restaurant — and this one was extra special to me.

These two traveled all the way from Texas to Ohio and trusted ME to capture their day. 🥹 One of these gorgeous brides also happens to be one of my longtime friends, which made being behind the camera for this chapter of her life mean even more.

There’s something pretty incredible about watching someone you’ve known for years find their person, and then getting the privilege of documenting the day they choose forever together. ❤️

Beautiful brides, gorgeous fall scenery, a winery, and a whole lot of love… this October wedding will forever be one of those galleries I love going back to.

So yes, I’m resharing it — because love like this deserves another spot on the timeline. 🥂🍂🌈

Preschool pictures hit a little differently when you’ve had the privilege of watching them grow. 🥹📸

I’ve been photographing this sweet boy for a few years now, and he’s always been my shy little guy in front of the camera. But TODAY?! He came ready! 🤍

He was out of his shell, full of smiles, and let that adorable personality shine through. And I may have been just a little excited behind the camera seeing those big, genuine grins! (See mom’s pics of us at the end). 🥰

These are the moments I love most about getting to photograph the same kiddos year after year — watching them grow, change, and become more and more themselves.
