Hey Y’all!

I wanted to just reintroduce myself with some new followers! Along with it having been a year or so since I’ve posted anything. My name is Kaylee Johnson! I’m the face behind the camera. And occasionally I get put in front of the camera.

I have been a photographer professionally for the past 4-5 years, but have enjoyed taking photos for as long as I can remember. I graduated from Dakota College at Bottineau with an AAS Degree in Photography in 2020. I’m not only a photographer, I’m also currently a full-time college student and full-time substitute teacher. In April 2022, after 2 years of being a substitute teacher, I realized I loved getting to teach and the wonderful relationships I was building with so many of my students, so I decided to go back to school to become a full-time elementary teacher. In April of 2023 my wonderful boyfriend (at the time) proposed to me on a weekend trip to Deadwood, SD on a snowy hike in Custer State Park. This past September we tied the knot after a year and a half of being engaged and planning a wedding.

Questions I get asked often: ⤵️

Are you going to stop photography after becoming a full-time teacher? No. I don’t plan on stopping!

How do we pay you? Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp are all acceptable forms of payments.

What if I can’t pay it all upfront? That’s okay! We can set up payment plans.

Do you travel? Yes I do. After a certain amount of miles I do charge for mileage however.

Do you have a studio? I have an in home studio I use very often.

Check out this awesome senior!!! I’ve gotten to know this senior these last couple of years by being a substitute teacher at his school! He’s one pretty great senior if I do say so myself!! Not to mention a pretty stylish guy too!
