IC443 - The Jellyfish Nebula

After many iterations and just under 22 hours of data collection, I'm finally happy with this image of IC443. This is the most data I've ever captured on a single target, and it's amazing how much more detail I was able to reveal by pushing the integration further.
However, this abundance of data also presented a unique processing challenge. The faint dust in the background became more prominent, making it harder to build contrast on the nebula itself. But I persevered, and I'm pleased with the final result.

The Horsehead and Flame Nebulae

This winter, as you look at the night sky and see the Orion constellation, this nebula is at the left star of the belt, Alnitak! If only you could see this with your naked eye. But that's why I post these images, to bring you a little closer to the cosmos!

I took this image with my Celestron RASA 8 and an ASI533MC. It contains about 15 hours of data!

It's finally complete! I present to you a 4 panel mosaic of the Triffid and Lagoon nebula region! I used the best 3.5 hours of data I had for each panel. The next piece of the puzzle for my mosaic... M20, The Trifid Nebula.
With very little integration time, we get great details in the nebula. The RASA is just a beast at collecting light.

I did some basic edits on this image of M8, The Lagoon Nebula. It's a portion of my next mosaic. I'm really enjoying all of the small details in the nebula. The starless version really makes all of the details appear. What do you guys think of this image so far?

IC1396 - The Elephant Trunk Nebula

After collecting 17.5 hours worth of photons from space and over 3 hours of stacking and processing, I'm thrilled to share this detailed view of this stunning nebula located in the constellation Cepheus. IC 1396 is a fascinating mix of glowing cosmic gas and dark dust clouds, a testament to the incredible beauty and complexity of our universe.
