I started by taking a lot of bad shots while out on a long walk. But every once in a while I hit a good one, and those were the ones that kept me coming back. New equipment and more practice helped and over time I started to take less bad shots. Another saying I have heard is photography is like painting with light. With landscape photography the sun will decide what colors you have to work with a

t that moment. But wait a while and the colors can change. Over time I have tried to get the full 64 box of crayons worth of color into my shots.

GREAT DAY ON THE WATER FOR SAIL BOSTON 250!

Thanks to Captain Paul for giving us the best seat in the harbor to watch this incredible event. We lucked out with a beautiful, sunny day — the recent heat left a bit of haze in the air, but honestly, it didn't matter one bit. Good company with Laura, Matt, and Paul, and an unforgettable Parade of Tall Ships. What a day to be on the water.
