Vol. 2 - Tanks........
Today, I'd like to share a few snapshots from an enormous vehicle hall—roughly the size of a football field—housing dozens of tanks and other armored vehicles. The collection spans more than a century of military history, from some of the earliest armored machines ever built to modern battle tanks.
Many of these vehicles have remarkable stories of their own. Some were recovered from swamps after decades beneath the surface, while others were brought back from desert battlefields. What makes this collection truly special is that these are not replicas—they are authentic combat vehicles that served in real conflicts. Standing next to them, touching the steel, comparing their massive armor, and seeing the incredible variety of engineering and design up close is an experience that's difficult to put into words.
The exhibits reveal just how dramatically armored warfare evolved over time. From primitive machines that required a single crew member to crawl behind what was barely more than an experimental vehicle, to the enormous steel giants of World War I that demanded crews of more than a dozen soldiers to operate them.
The collection takes visitors on a journey through the First and Second World Wars, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the Cold War, and conflicts fought across the deserts of the Middle East. It is far more than a display of military hardware—it is a fascinating lesson in history, engineering, and the extraordinary pace of technological development.
