Hi! I'm Kayci - the girl behind the camera over here. It's been so long since I've shown my face.

I've been living life with a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, and this business has given me the opportunity to document so many years of weddings, births, proposals, business beginnings - the list goes on. I am in love with shooting film and forever will be. I am good at making people feel comfortable in front of a camera. Being a photographer matters to me because I think it's important to capture life, and I do it in a way that is timeless and authentic.

My mother is a story teller and I spent my life hearing stories and watching them come to life in the pictures that she had. Photographs are one of the few things that I truly treasure. When life tries to make us forget, they remind us of who and where we have been. They remind us who our grandparents were before dementia took over, they remind us of what our mom looked like holding us for the first time, they remind us how the tear fell down our husband's cheek when we walked down the aisle to marry him and how our brother cried when he gave the speech that night. Sometimes they remind us that we are beautiful on the days we don't believe it.

As much as I love the laughs and meeting new people and travel, this is my why - I want to remember. And when you hire me, I'm shooting to tell your stories and to keep your memories alive for you too.
