There’s something undeniably special about a tented reception that’s just *chefs kiss*

As the sun faded over the water and the evening transitioned into celebration, the entire atmosphere felt warm, immersive, and full of life in the most beautiful way.

From the live band keeping the dance floor packed all night to the cheers during toasts, signature cocktails flowing, champagne in hand, and an iconic dress change before the party really began, every part of this reception felt joyful, elevated, and genuinely fun. The kind of evening where guests never wanted to leave and every moment unfolded with so much energy and connection.

We are so honored to share that this celebration is featured on the front page of Style Me Pretty đź’š

Shakye and Sheridan’s wedding at Dover Hall was filled with intentional design, meaningful moments, and rich hues of emerald green woven throughout. A celebration rooted in a love story over a decade in the making, carrying with it a deep sense of legacy, remembrance, and the coming together of two families in such a beautiful way.

Cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin feel like stepping into something fleeting and unforgettable. For a few quiet moments at sunrise, everything softens, and the city feels like it’s holding its breath 🌸

Shakye and Sheridan met me in those early hours, right at peak bloom. Their connection felt effortless, the kind that makes everything around them fade away. So full of joy.

What you don’t see is the hundreds of people just outside the frame, the parking chaos, and the early morning logistics it took to get here. And yet, their images feel calm, intimate, and entirely their own.
