And so much more! VAPC launched in Jan. 2013 as an extension of the photography classes ArtInspired has been offering since 2010. The founder and instructor Marilen Crump has been a professional photographer since 2000 and a member of the PPA since 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College in 2000 where she self-designed her own Interdisciplinary Arts major. She attended NYIP and UCLA after graduation and has been working as a freelance photographer throughout Virginia and Maryland. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Regent University, The Williamsburg Hospitality House, The Farley Center, Williamsburg Neighbors Magazine (Cover Shots), and various TV/Film personalities for their professional headshot and marketing materials. She has been instructing photography classes since 2009 and has led numerous photo tours in the Hampton Roads area including Historic Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg, The Noland Trail, Historic Main Street on Warwick Blvd. and Sandy Bottom Nature Park.
