Today was the 2026 VTNGEA Golf Tournament at Champlain Country Club. I had my drone drop set up on hole 6 but tried something new this year. In addition to taking a video of each team's flight, I had an action camera recording the team itself. This is a very quick, rough edit of just one of the teams. I have a ton of proper editing, adjusting frame rates between the 2 cameras, and syncing both of the videos into 1 clip. My goal is to have a complete overview video of each tournament going forward.

We wrapped up the Kali search around 3:15 this morning and did not locate her. We are remaining positive and hopeful that she broke her leash and is still out there.

I am headed to South Hero to look for this pup named Kali. She got loose, dragging a retractable leash, 3 days ago. A local good samaritan tried a thermal search last night but the conditions were not ideal. The area has pockets of very dense woods and brush. With the extreme urgency, we are all hoping to have some good luck on our side tonight.

I traded in my Ram on Monday, with 238,000 miles, for a new '26 GMC. I needed something reliable for my business and was extremely happy with the customer service at St. Johnsbury GMC. Last night I was heading to Strafford VT for a missing dog search and unfortunately hit a deer on the interstate. The truck had 228 miles on it, luckily I was able to drive it home. Retirement, new truck, everything was going so smooth. Hopefully the insurance and body work can get completed quickly.

Last Friday was my final day in uniform with the Vermont National Guard. 20 of the last 24 years have been active duty. During the last 12-18 months I have had to conduct missing pet searches, sometimes until 2-3 am, and then drive straight to work to start my day with no sleep. There have been real estate jobs that have taken longer to complete than I'd like because of military obligations. Tomorrow is my first day of no Army, no aerial jobs lined up, and no plans. I can now transition to putting focus on the business and services that I provide for my community and surrounding areas. Thank you to everyone that I have worked with and built personal/professional friendships with so far. I am looking forward to setting my own hours that benefit my home time with family and also rapid response to customers.
