Women come to me from all over the world to look and feel great, both inside and out. A portrait session with me is one of the most self-respecting things a woman - or girl! - will ever do in her life. I’ve photographed everyone from royalty to women who saved for months to get a 16x20 on canvas. Women usually come for once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and they leave feeling on top

of the world. I rock at Photoshop and have no qualms about giving women pictures of themselves that reflect the woman they see themselves as. Sometimes this means hours and hours of retouching a siingle image. No matter what, the result is a print that women will cherish and feel proud of for the rest of their lives. I specialize in studio portraits of women, and I have a gigantic soft spot for women who are pregnant with their first child. Other reasons women choose to work with me include milestone events like significant weight loss, getting married (AND getting divorced), getting fit and surviving cancer. In addition to private client work, past corporate clients included the Robin Hood Foundation, The New York Times, SELF Magazine, Prudential Financial and the Boston Philharmonic. Before all this photography work, I used to be a Wall Street gerbil, happily running my butt off on the wheel. I loved those years, but like everything in life, at some point you get out of breath. I left in 2002 and never looked back. It seems I got out of breath a second time. I chose to move to Minnesota when two of my family members were going through bad times. When things got better, I moved BACK to the East coast to the historic and charming town of Newport, RI. Even though I don’t live in Manhattan any more, I’m not far away. Plus, I’ll travel anywhere for anyone with a really good reason. PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES
1) CALMING: If you are not a professional model, fear not! I’m an EXPERT at posing women and choosing flattering angles. I am great at choosing the right outfits (ok, sometimes we hire a stylist to help out) and I am precise and exacting in posing directions. 2) COMMITTED: I’m a sensitive artist and bend over backward for every client.
3) SOPHISTICATED: I'm straightforward and unapologetically expensive. Price is what you pay, value is what you get (thank you Warren Buffet).

AFFINITIES
I celebrate handmade, artisanal objects. I’m drawn to things that are hard to make and exhibit exquisite craftsmanship. I fawn over handmade watches, handmade fountain pens, beautiful saddles, Corinthian column capitals and beautifully made shoes.
