I’m excited to share the making of another piece in my Elements series – incorporating paper castings created by my mother, now embedded within these elaborate castings with plaster, misc organic plants, flowers, vines, paint and light! This piece reflects the enduring bond between sisters, and the ways connection, memory, and lineage become intertwined across generations.

Jean Zaslow was an accomplished sculpture and the person who first taught me the value of experimentation, material, and intuition.
These paper castings have been stored away for decades, quietly waiting.
Revisiting them now feels less like preservation and more like transformation, old forms given new life, carrying a new story….

The divided faces and fragmented forms reflect the pieces of ourselves passed on to our children.
Here, only the mother is whole and the surrounding forms ,each uniquely different, carry forward their own lineage, identity, with the imprint of generations before them.

This project for Tea Forte brings to life so many ingredients that make each blend so special, captured in light, bright moments that feel like summer.

Editing, letting go, passing things on, and reshaping what stays. Clearing space always feels bigger than just organizing, it opens the door for new ideas, new props, and new work to take form.

Grateful for this beautiful space and everything it holds and everything that’s still to come. .

Back at the Maker Hotel for another shoot, this time capturing the incredible new creations from Chef Jonas Offenbeck, the new French chef behind SERRE.
There’s something about transforming a beautiful Conservatory into my own temporary photo studio ….with gear scattered everywhere, a little chaos, a lot of focus and somehow it all comes together.
Carefully crafted recipes, designed with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor, each dish as beautiful as it is delicious!

It really felt like the start of a new season, reconnecting , seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones, all while taking in so much incredible art and great music! Thanks Igor ….

I’m excited to be part of the latest TAG show, Mapping Memories. I’ll be sharing work from my Spanish Cookbook series, images rooted in tradition, place, and the quiet stories that live inside everyday rituals.
These pieces explore how memory lives in flavors, textures, and the objects we carry forward.
