If you're new here, I'm the photographer behind Claire Marie Photography.

Over the last few years, I've found myself drawn to weddings that are intimate, design-forward, and filled with intention. The kind of celebrations where every detail has meaning, the guest experience is thoughtfully curated, and your wedding feels unapologetically you.

This past year, I've also completely fallen in love with shooting film and Super 8. There's something about their nostalgic, imperfect beauty that perfectly complements the way I want your memories to feel. Timeless, emotional, and honest.

A few exciting updates...
• I'm already halfway booked for 2027 weddings, which still feels surreal to say. 🤍

• I'm offering 10% off all December 2026 through March 2027 weddings. But my favorite part of a first look is everything that happens after.
The laughter.
The happy tears.
The way the nerves disappear.
The few quiet minutes where it's just the two of you before the celebration begins.
Those little in-between moments are the ones I never want my couples to forget.

Not because you have to... but because moments like these happen.

Every hug, every conversation, every laugh becomes just a little more romantic, and your flowers become part of the story instead of disappearing after the ceremony.

These ended up being some of my favorite images from The Shaunneseys' wedding.

The candlelit tables. Champagne in hand. Guests lingering a little longer over cocktail hour. Thoughtful details tucked into every corner. The first deep breath after saying, "I do."

This part of the day deserves just as much intention as the ceremony itself.

It's where your guests experience everything you've spent months dreaming up, and where some of the most beautiful, unscripted moments quietly unfold.

These are the moments that give a wedding its heartbeat.

One of my favorite things about summer sessions are that they don't need much.

Just endless greens, soft evening light, and two people who genuinely enjoy being together.

The most meaningful images almost always happen somewhere between the prompts, when you're walking, laughing, reaching for each other's hand, or forgetting the camera is even there.

That's the magic I'm always looking for.

We are wrapping up summer busy season with British Vogue, Part 2 | July Edition

The Jarrell's celebration at Glen Foerd was one of those weddings that reminded me exactly why I fell in love with documenting weddings in the first place. Paige wore every emotion so beautifully throughout the day, from quiet anticipation to contagious laughter, and because she embraced every feeling so fully, so many of my favorite photographs became personality-driven moments rather than perfectly posed ones.

It also took place at one of my absolute favorite venues. Glen Foerd has everything I find myself endlessly inspired by: timeless architecture, waterfront views, beautiful gardens, and one of my favorite getting ready spaces. Every room invites intentional storytelling, making it a place I'll never tire of photographing.
Choosing this wedding for my second British Vogue feature was such an easy decision.

The blues, the black and whites, the estate interiors, and the most beautiful collection of thoughtful details.

The Schonbergs' New York wedding felt timeless from beginning to end. Every element complemented the next, from the bride's details and soft blue bridesmaid dresses to the historic estate setting and candid moments that made the day uniquely theirs (including the now-iconic Dorito photo).

A wedding that proves beautiful design and genuine moments will never go out of style.
