The Mackinac Bridge "Mighty Mac" or "Big Mac" connects the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. The 5-mile-long bridge is the third longest suspension bridge in the United States. We didn't get the pleasure of crossing that beautiful bridge on this trip but hopefully we'll get the opportunity in the near future.

Torch Lake... the reason for the whole Michigan vacation. I wanted to see this beautiful lake that was compared to the Caribbean. That water definitely looked like it belonged in a tropical paradise. Unfortunately, June still has 60-70 degree temperatures. We were not able to go in and enjoy the clear water.

We took the very curvy (156 turns) drive up Pikes Peak. There's about 2 feet from you and the edge. I'm amazed that people race up this mountain exceeding speeds of 140mph! Next year will be the 100th running of the Race to the Clouds.
