You know those moments when you are like “oh – I wish I had a camera?” – Well – I do! I’ve captured the most amazing photos of children –and the best are not always the prettiest or the cutest faces. They are the ones that make you giggle and the ones that take you back – the sad face, the silly scrunched-up-nose face, the uh-oh face , the hilarious “I just fell into the dog’s water bowl” face.
Of course you want beautiful photos of your children and I am more than happy to capture those, but the photos that capture *who they really are* are the photos that continue to melt the hearts of parents everywhere. When your child is put in a very unnatural pose in front of some bland backdrop with harsh lighting...that isn't the kid anymore, it's a robot. Sure you will achieve a smile and their direct eye contact, but its when you go blow some bubbles in Millenium Park and that toddler just oozes with excitement...THAT is what you want to remember.
