What a fun (and early!) morning! Tiffany and I headed to Springfield at 2:30AM for Route 66 and the 3rd Hour of Today, and it was totally worth it.

We made it near the front, had the best time, and I even got to hold a sign that said:
“Downtown Nixa ❤️’s Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer.”

And yes… I got their autographs too!

Hearing we made it on TV just makes it even better!

Meet Dani Foster, owner of Hot Dogs & Cool Cats LLC.

Dani’s journey started right at home, opening her grooming business in her garage in October 2023. After building her client base and growing her vision, she secured her Downtown Nixa location in August 2025 and officially moved into her space this January.

With 14 years of grooming experience, Dani has created a calm, welcoming environment where pets are cared for with patience, skill, and a whole lot of love.

From full-service grooming to specialty add-ons, every detail is designed to give pets the best experience possible, and this is just the beginning, with daycare and boarding on the way.

I had the best session with the Collins family and couldn’t be happier with how their photos turned out. They wanted to include a location that was special to them, the place where they held their wedding reception back in 2009, and I was able to get access so we could make that happen. I love when sessions include meaningful spots like that.

Their kids were absolute rock stars, great listeners, easygoing, and such wonderful kiddos. I adore them. Their outfits were perfectly coordinated and looked amazing together, and I was especially happy we could capture some images with the water as a beautiful backdrop. The weather showed off too, truly one of those just perfect days. We had the best time from start to finish.

Tiffany is also my across-the-street neighbor in downtown Nixa and the owner of Lucid Tlc Arts. It’s a beautiful art space, and I always enjoy popping in to admire the incredible artwork she has on display. I have bought quite a few artworks from her. You should definitely stop by sometimes you won’t be disappointed.
