Me and Amadeus decided that our next one on one adventure was going to be visiting Crystal Cave. This place was great!! The gift shop has a lot of great stuff including a bunch of vintage coin machines that still work, so bring lots of quarters.
The cave is packed full of formations. Everywhere you look there is something to see. Keep a close eye on the ceiling for fossils not just formations.The amount of soda straws alone is impressive on its own. It's an hour long tour and there are a few tight spots so be prepared to either crawl or duck walk through a few spots.
Wear shoes with a good grip. It's wet and can puddle on the path. There is red clay and it can get on your shoes and pants so be prepared.
