Three tips for landing a second/assistant photography gig.
1. Be authentic. No one likes a phony, and can get you in real hot water when you try to have authentic connections with the client. Just be yourself, I promise that will get you farther than any amount of fake presentation.
2. Good communication is key. Ask questions, respond back promptly, be available. Good communication is a foundation on which a well structured and successful wedding day event is built. As a second that is one of the most important things you bring to the table.
3. Be presentable. As much as it might seem old-fashioned, coming correct with your wardrobe to an event is really important. At the end of the day you are a service provider not an influencer, and your dress should convey that.
