When I asked Emily if sheā€™d be up for a shoot, I envisioned something very specific.

I think itā€™s safe to assume that usually the subject of a shoot has an expectation, or idea for what they want their pictures to look like, and itā€™s the photographerā€™s job to bring that to life.

This time it felt like the roles were reversed, and as I was capturing these moments, I saw my little ā€œdream shootā€ becoming a reality.

The light, the horses, the dress, the hair, the settingā€¦ everything was perfect.

I think Iā€™ve told Emily about a dozen times how obsessed I am with these, and I canā€™t thank her enough for helping me bring my ā€œvisionā€ to lifešŸ’•

Had a fun day creating content for MV Performance Horses in Sanger, TX yesterday šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤˜šŸ½

Mollyā€™s program was impressive to experience. Iā€™m not sure Iā€™ve met a horse trainer so versatile and thorough, especially with the youngsters! Go check her out yall!

Weā€™re currently working on all orders that have already run today! Once the Slot Race starts, weā€™ll pause editing and focus on capturing all the action so nothing gets missed.

For the Slot Race, weā€™ll have 3 camera angles:

ā€¢ šŸ“¹ One camera rotating between the alleyway and warm-up pen

Iā€™m incredibly thankful to have such an awesome team with me this weekend!
