They never got the big moment…The one where everyone stops and witnesses them stepping into something real💓

So we made one.

A soundbath to come home to each other. A photoshoot that captured them exactly as they are.

And then, in the quiet of it all, they said their vows…Not because they had to. Because they wanted to say it again💫

This is what choosing looks like. Not once, not on a single “perfect” day but over and over in a world that gives you every reason not to.

I created the Love Alchemy Session for couples like this. The ones who are ready to be witnessed. To mark the moment. To create a memory that lives in their body not just their camera roll.

going back through the archives and getting into my feels about being able to document women in such powerful ways all around the world🥹🫶🏼

from the desert mountains in new mexico to the lush greenery of bali, to the beautiful salt flats in salt lake city…every scene is so different yet magical in its own unique way. just like every woman is✨

being able to capture the essence of someone on camera isn’t always an easy thing…

sometimes there is a fear of being seen.
sometimes there is an uneasiness.
sometimes there are thoughts of who am i to take up space?

and i think during my 20 year journey with photography i’ve learned so much about this in itself. that it’s not just clicking a picture for someone…

it’s preserving your essence to share visually with the world
it’s an activation to put yourself out there fully
it’s your legacy
it’s healing to see yourself and finally choose to love yourself instead of constant critiquing or judging
its about always coming back to your self…and the love we need to have for ourselves in this journey of life

and that’s why i love this work so damn much!

i’ve been quiet on this page for many many months since i’ve closed my wedding books. letting go of an old identity that i thought defined me.

but looking through these archives, i am reminded that i have a gift of seeing people in a very unique way.

and im ready to step into that version of myself that is becoming…

A few weeks ago, I met with Minnow from for a photoshoot exchange that allowed us to be in our creative feminine energy together🤍

No pressure, no force…just time to go back and forth getting inspired and taking lifestyle portraits of each other that we could have for our social media and marketing💫

When you have outgrown your old identity, you will know it deep within…

Things won’t feel the same, you just feel differently.

With being an established wedding photographer for nearly 20 years, I built an identity that was centered around performance, constant people pleasing (and feeling like I could never make some people happy) and expectations I would put on myself and others…it would be rewarding with the financial aspect of it, but completely draining and like I could never keep my head above water on the other side of it.

The career didn’t define me…but it helped me become more aware of myself, energy and others around me.

I learned that my camera also became a tool of healing…helping people feel comfortable in their skin, guiding them through huge milestone moments in their life and holding space for people to just be themselves.

And now as a sound practitioner, it’s a bit similar to what I was doing with photography except this time it’s with other instruments…my sound bowls, my ocean drum, my Tibetan bowls, chimes, etc.

Helping people come back home to themselves through the sound journey they are meant to have.

I will always come back to the understanding that the medicine is in the work that I do with people…the tools can be interchanged but the outcome is always the same.

And that’s the beautiful thing to always remember and keep in my heart, always💫

This is something I love about these embodied branding shoots tbh! You get to show all aspects of yourself in a multitude of ways🫶🏼
