Photography isn’t just photography.
Sometimes it’s cheering from the sidelines.
Sometimes it’s watching a shy little kid grow into a confident teenager.
Sometimes it’s celebrating the victories, praying through the hard seasons, and quietly rooting for a family year after year.
For the last six years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing Arial’s family. I’ve watched their children grow, their relationships deepen, and their story unfold one chapter at a time. What started as taking pictures became something so much more.
With Arial, I was blessed to witness so much of her journey into motherhood. I remember the conversations about wanting a baby, the hope, the waiting, the heartbreak that can come with infertility, and then the incredible joy that followed. Being trusted to document those moments is something I will never take for granted.
As photographers, we’re invited into some of life’s most precious moments. We witness milestones, graduations, new beginnings, and everything in between. We don’t just click a shutter and move on. We care. We celebrate your successes. We hurt when you hurt. We genuinely want the best for your family.
This session was bittersweet because this sweet family is moving away. While I’m incredibly excited for their next adventure, I’m deeply sad to see them go.
I never take lightly the trust my clients place in me. The photos matter, but the relationships matter even more.
Thank you, Arial, for allowing me to be a small part of your family’s story for the past six years. From the dreams of becoming a mother to the beautiful family you’ve built today, it has been an honor to witness it all.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you later.
