I was able to photograph this little gem back in September and would love to highlight it. It was a beautiful gala to celebrate the victories and mourn the losses of those who have fought childhood cancer for so long. In Jamaica, they have this beautiful tree with red flowers called the Royal Poinciana. They grow seed pods from which locals can make medicine.
