One of the most freeing parts of connecting with my sensuality was realizing my body was never the problem.

My body does not need to change before it deserves to be explored.

Sexy does not have an age, size, gender, or relationship status.

You don’t have to have be in a relationship to explore the connection you have to your sexuality.

I am allowed to take up space. To speak up.

I do not need anyone’s permission to feel desirable.

I can be nervous and still do things that make me uncomfortable.

I deserve to see myself through kinder eyes.

F**k what they think. They probably aren’t even happy with themselves.

This body is mine.

Watching other people come to the same realization? It’s one of the greatest things to witness 🖤

When I say I’m a photographer, I normally get the “Oh that’s cute” look as they ask what I do full time. You know…For my REAL job.

What they don’t know is that my “cute” business made me my first $100k by 24.

My cute business allowed me to leave a toxic marriage as a single mom at 26 without struggling.

My cute business has transformed my entire idea of what is possible, what I am capable of, and shown me that a bit of delusion and grit can provide the life of my dreams.

Building a career around making art and pleasure, setting my own schedule, traveling, raising my babies, and getting paid to create a life that actually feels like mine?

We had our last beach session of the summer and I am just not ready to be done. Tonight was PERFECT 😍😍😍

When I say I was STRESSED yesterday… 😫😫😫

Imagine having a client come in from Florida for her photoshoot…

…and it’s absolutely POURING. 😭⛈️😬

The morning of her beach session, Mother Nature decided it was the perfect time for a thunderstorm.

We made a backup plan. We set a rain date. We prepared to pivot.

Then we arrived at the beach.

Blue skies.
Sailboats.
We had our choice of spots.

When I say it was PERFECT… I mean it was exactly how it was supposed to happen.

The earlier storm cleared the beach. The sand was dry. The clouds were dramatic in the best way.

It took me right back to my days shooting bo***ir on the beaches of Hawaii, where I’d watch the forecast all day just to have it change five minutes before we started.

It was literally POURING. Like wipers on full blast and struggling to see just moments before we created these.

You can make the perfect plan, but life rarely follows the script. Some of the most unforgettable moments happen because you’re willing to trust what unfolds instead of fighting it.

You cannot have rainbows without a little rain 🌈🌈🌈

My clients don’t have a confidence issue. They have a “remembering who the f**k they are” problem.

The great thing? It’s temporary.

It’s easy to get disconnected.

I get it. I feel like I’m coming out of several deaths and rebirths of self myself.

If you aren’t taking care of your household…
or your partner…
or your kids…
or your career…
You’re finding time to take care of YOU.

Your passion gets buried under somebody else’s to do list and you’re trudging along waiting for that spark to come back.

One thing life has taught me:
If I don’t protect that spark, nobody else will.

The world will gladly consume every ounce of your energy if you allow it.

There will always be another email…another load of laundry…another meeting…

There’s always going to be somebody else needing something from you.

But there is only one YOU.

And the longer it takes you to come back to yourself, the easier it is to believe that those parts of you disappeared.

They didn’t.

You are still there.

Just quietly waiting for permission to let yourself come out to play again…when we BOTH know that you are loud AF.

So stop playing with yourself.

I’m here to deliver a message:
Happiness is not something you need to EARN.

You were never supposed to abandon yourself in the first place.

If it brings you happiness and growth, it is an investment. Not an expense.

“I was a bit nervous. I wasn’t as confident as I was I think with my body compared to the first time around because I have gotten a little thicker. It also has been three years since I’ve been in front of the camera, so I had to mentally prepare to be vulnerable.”

Life happens. Your body will change. Your mindset will change. What matters is that you stay connected to YOU!

After her session she said…

“I’m not as hard on myself physically as I was before. I’m learning that I’m hot AF 🔥

I enjoyed this session as much as the first one! The vibe was different, but in a good way. I was bolder in this session.

KILLED IT! Gimme all the pampering! It was fun sitting around, getting pretty, and just talking about life. I felt like I was at a slumber party hanging with the girls.

Both of my experiences have been 🤌🏽 Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. You are the biggest hype man, which fueled the fire to produce some fire shots lol I’m already wanting to do session 3 😬“

I’m so glad that she didn’t let how she was feeling about her body in that moment prevent her from showing up for herself because DAMN.

She killed that 🔥🔥🔥
