It was finally Presley's turn in front of my camera for her individual senior session, and goodness, did we have a beautiful evening!

Presley has this quiet confidence about her that I just love. She's sweet, strong, and knows what's important to her, and I think that really shines through in her photos.

We had ALL the fall colors showing off for us, played around in the creek, incorporated a few things that are meaningful to her, and wrapped up our evening at Maxwell Park with the prettiest golden hour light.

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to capture all the different sides of someone's personality. From her love of country to her accomplishments in fitness, Presley brought little pieces of who she is into her session, and I loved getting to document them.

Presley, it's been such a joy having you on my senior team this year, and getting this time with you for your own session was extra special. You are absolutely beautiful, inside and out! ❤️

Another day, another reason to love my Class of 2027 Senior Team!

Presley was up next in front of my camera, and I swear these girls make my job way too easy.

One of my favorite things about our group sessions is seeing how each girl brings her own personality to the exact same setting. Same location, same photographer, but a completely different collection of images that feels like HER.

And that's exactly how senior portraits should be.

Our senior team sessions have been anything but boring. And I wouldn't have it any other way! ❤️

We laugh, we pose, we play, and somewhere along the way, we make some pretty great memories.

One of my favorite parts of this experience has been simply spending time with these girls. Listening to their conversations about homecoming, football games, upcoming tests, and all the little things that make up senior year. It's been such a fun reminder of just how special this season of life really is.

We have just ONE group session left before I start preparing for the Class of 2028, and goodness, that's bittersweet.

More than anything, I hope these girls walk away from this experience with more than beautiful photos. I hope they have memories, friendships, and moments they'll look back on fondly as they head into their next chapter.

Callie, Juliette, Presley, and Taylor, THANK YOU. ❤️

You took a chance on the very first year of the LWP Senior Team Experience, and that trust means so much to me. I've absolutely loved getting to know each of you, cheering you on, and watching your personalities shine in front of my camera.

I had no idea exactly what this first year would look like, but I'm so glad it included the four of you.

👻 Things we're ghosting this October, photographer edition.

The excuses. The awkward poses. The photos that never make it off our phones. And DEFINITELY the idea that we need to wait for everything to be perfect before documenting our lives.

Life moves fast. Your kids grow up. Senior year flies by. And those little moments you think you'll remember forever? They deserve more than a spot in your camera roll.

So here's to printing the photos, getting in the frame, and making memories worth keeping. 🩵

Every year I have someone that says "I didn't know you had minis!" I don't run them very often, but when I do we make beautiful sets! You won't want to miss out, I've had a lot of buzz around this beautiful Arch. I have a second backdrop as well, a simple neutral paper stars and chains look with a wooden bench.

Sweater weather, a vintage truck, pumpkins, and mums?? YES, PLEASE! 🍂🎃

Juliet brought all the fall vibes to her senior session, and that gorgeous orange cable knit sweater against the silver-blue vintage truck?! PERFECTION!

And did I mention she did all of this with a BROKEN FOOT?! Yep! Not even that was going to slow her down! We had the best time getting creative with poses, including getting her up on the truck for some of my favorite shots!

We wrapped things up with a quick outfit change to show off her Normal Community Ironmen pride! ❤️🖤

Juliet, you absolutely rocked your session (broken foot and all!), and I had SO much fun with you!

Vintage truck, a red barn, fall vibes, and a golden hour that understood the assignment. 🍂✨

Taylor's senior session was SO much fun!

We kicked things off with all the cozy fall feels. Think sweaters, cowboy boots, pumpkins, and a vintage truck that made the perfect backdrop.

Then we switched things up with some U-High spirit wear and the prettiest golden-hour light to wrap up her session.

Two completely different looks, one gorgeous evening, and so many photos I can't wait to share!

The project I didn't know would affect me so deeply. ❤️

6 people. 6 childhood treasures. Countless memories.

What started as a simple idea to photograph adults with something they've held onto since childhood turned into something so much more.

Behind every well-loved stuffed animal and childhood toy was a story. Stories of comfort, love, loss, and memories that have stayed with these individuals for decades.

I knew these photographs would be meaningful to the people in them. What I didn't anticipate was how meaningful the experience would be for me, too.

I'm so grateful for this work I get to do. For the stories people trust me with, the connections made, and the opportunity to preserve little pieces of people's lives through photographs.

Sometimes it's about so much more than taking a pretty picture. ❤️

Somewhere inside each of us is the child we once were. The one who found comfort in a favorite stuffed animal, who carried it everywhere, who couldn't imagine a day without it. ❤️

And somewhere along the way, we grew up.

Life happened. We moved, made memories, experienced love and loss, and became people our younger selves could have only imagined.

But some things stayed with us.

Recently, I photographed six adults with treasured pieces of their childhood. Stuffed animals and dinosaurs that survived decades of moves, growing up, and all the changes life brought their way.

Some were worn thin. Some had been lovingly repaired. Others carried memories of people who are no longer here.

And yet, here they were, still being held close after all these years.

I can't help but wonder what our younger selves would think if they could see us now, holding those same childhood treasures.

Maybe they'd be surprised by the people we've become. Maybe they'd have a thousand questions.

But I hope they'd feel reassured knowing that we made it this far. That we're still finding our way. That we're okay.

And that we never completely forgot the little person we used to be. ❤️
