🎉 The doors for the Quarter Co. are officially OPEN! 🎉
In 2021, most business owners were grappling with the ramifications of the pandemic at its peak. We were nearly tripping over our own feet as we tried to catch up and adjust after a particularly challenging season. 🏃🏻♀️
As I looked around me, my heart grew heavy. This situation was unsustainable. None of us could continue at this pace. Staying up until 2:00 am working, only to start our mornings a few short hours later with sleep still in our eyes, was nothing to boast about. Missing family dinners, time with friends, rest, and so much more wasn't how any of us wanted to live.
However, during that time, we weren't the ones running our businesses; our businesses were running us.
Overwhelm and burnout were lurking around every corner. A single wrong look, burnt bread, or spilled cup of coffee could bring most of us to tears.
As I had more and more conversations with industry friends, I knew that something had to change.
Enter SOPs, Quarterly Planning, boundaries, and a growing ability to say no. 🙌🏼
I had been introduced to many of these concepts at the beginning of my business, but in late 2020/early 2021, the Lord was faithful to bring them back to my mind. 🥹
*This* was it. This was the answer I had been praying for.
After hours of research, I was determined. It was time to stop transferring goals from one list to another, establish set work hours, and cultivate an intentional business community. 📚
So, I founded the Quarter Co., a cohort of 10 like-minded business owners who were ready to regain control of their businesses. 💪🏼
Through quarterly planning, regular meetings, and accountability, we all started setting and achieving our goals, repeatedly. 🙌🏼
Nearly two years later, we continue to set and achieve our goals. This cohort has transformed from a group of strangers into treasured and valued friends. With individuals from various industries, we are able to encourage, challenge, and provide input on business decisions, challenges, and ideas. We celebrate each victory and support one another in tangible ways. 💞
