Ive tried to be more careful selecting my words lately. How many times can I call something a “life changing trip” or a “dream trip”, a “bucket list trip”, before it starts to sound cheap? This past summer, was all of those things. I said those words over and over again. And I meant it Every. Single. Time.
I’ve had quite a few conversations after these trips with a handful of folks, talking about the impact these places had on me, and how it’s often too big to even try to encompass with words — so “life changing” tends to comes out. I honestly don’t know how else to sum it up. But maybe that is the thing, they can’t just be ‘summed up’. They’re not meant to be easy to digest & process. The profundity of the places I have seen and experienced, the people, the culture, the traditions. They’re not meant to be boiled down to one phrase.
So here’s a little peek at our home while we were in Greenland with . Maybe the photos can just speak for themselves, cause I’m still at a loss for words.
