I don’t know who needs to hear this, but people don’t just like you for what you have to offer - people like you for YOU.
I mean, the right people for you.
The ones who aren’t right for you will be the ones who only want you around because of what you have to offer them.
The ones who are right for you will be the ones who like you and enjoy your presence because you provide value to their lives by simply being your true and authentic self.
Both sort of sound the same, but trust me, they’re very different scenarios.
And this doesn’t just apply to friendships and relationships - this applies to small businesses and small business owners as well.
If you want to attract the right kind of clients, customers, followers, etc, you will do so by showing up purely as yourself.
We all have our passions, but I’ve seen a rise in this type of culture that has formed where it’s almost expected that your identity is solely what you do or specialize in.
And that’s just simply not the case. We are multidimensional beings with personalities, senses of humor, thoughts, opinions, among many other things.
Don’t lose your identity to your passion, profession, or pastimes.
You are more than just what you do.
You provide value by just being yourself.
You do not have to prove your worth - and if you find yourself in situations where you do feel you have to prove your worth... it ain’t it, sis. It’s not the right job, it’s not the right client, it’s not the right friend, it’s not the right partner for you.
So, show up as yourself.
Show more of your personality.
Actually, f**k that. Show your WHOLE personality.
The right ones will find you.
And you will find the right ones.
Love & light ❤️💫
