Consistency matters.

Whether it's a company leadership team, business staff, or an entire fire department, one of the biggest challenges is creating portraits that look like they belong together.

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph the North Branch Fire Department. Their goal was clear: create a professional, cohesive set of portraits that represented the department.

While that may sound simple, creating a unified look across more than 20 individual portraits and over the course of 3 separate days, requires planning, organization, and attention to detail.

Seeing my work out in the wild as polished marketing graphics never gets old. This one from Neighborhood National Bank came out SO good.

I decided to open the studio this Memorial Weekend Saturday from 10:00am–12:00pm!

If you've never experienced my Open Studio, it's not your typical DIY setup. You'll have access to professionally lit, unique studio sets while still having me there to help as needed!

You also have all access to me for all things photo projects, headshots, passport or specialty photos or get your hands on our popular photo magnets!

I’m sharing a quick video describing available sets! Grab a spot and come create something fun this weekend. Then head out and full send yourself into an amazing weekend!

It’s National EMT Week and I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to the people who answer calls on someone else’s worst day.

These are the people who run toward emergencies while the rest of us are frozen like a deer in headlights, blinking twice and asking, “Wait… what are we doing?”

And on a personal note, my brother is an EMT too and we have been on the receiving end of care from so I have an extra appreciation for the work, sacrifice, and heart that goes into this job.

These are just a small fraction of faces that run towards those emergencies. A heartfelt 'thank you' to this local crew.
