Jonas pulled off a whole stunt to make this happen!

Isabella went to med school at UC San Diego, they met in Washington DC, and now they live in Brooklyn, NY. They’ve been together 7 years!
San Diego has always been a special place to both of them, so when Isabella was going to be in San Diego visiting a friend, Jonas knew he had to jump on the opportunity!
While he was “supposed” to be in Europe on a work trip, he secretly got on a flight to San Diego in order to get down on one knee at one of their favorite cliffside spots in Torrey Pines. 💍
Coordinating with some of her friends to get her dressed up for a faux “cocktail party,” and taking a pretend “group photo for an event” at the Proposal spot, she didn’t know anything was happening!!! A perfect surprise and cover story.
Jonas hired me to capture the whole moment, from her reaction to seeing him on the cliff, to the “will you marry me” moment, and engagement photos afterwards! We had the best time and it was so much fun celebrating these two!
As if it couldn’t get any better, local falcons were out and about that day (apparently a rare sight according to the 🦅 photographers we saw everywhere!), and we had the whole spot to ourselves!
