Life has looked a little different than it did the last time I posted here.

Three years ago, I walked through my own cancer diagnosis and three months ago, I lost my dad just five weeks after he was diagnosed.
Experiences like that have a way changing your perspective. They remind you how quickly life moves and how important it is to hold onto the moments that matter.

My dad was always the one behind the camera. He had the newest camera, the newest camcorder and when phones started coming with a camera, he couldn’t have been more excited. He documented everything.

Now, those photos let me see his smile. Those videos let me hear his voice and his laugh. I get to watch him simply be himself and I can’t put into words how grateful I am that he took the time to preserve those moments.

The older I get, the more I catch little pieces of him in myself without even realizing it. Somehow, I ended up with a camera in my hands too.

About two years ago, I picked one up just to see where it would take me. Since then, I’ve been learning every chance I get and falling in love with telling stories through photos and film. I appreciate the trust people place in me every time they step in front of my lens.

So while I’ll still be planning weddings and events here and there, you’ll start seeing more photography and videography through my lens. I’m not exactly sure where this road leads and honestly, I’m okay with that.

Here’s to another chapter, new stories and capturing the moments that someday become the memories we hold onto most. 🤍
