Tommy L. Sproles Pickthorne Lake is a serene, 347-acre public fishing lake located within the Holland Bottoms Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Positioned roughly 5 miles northeast of Jacksonville and 7 miles southwest of Cabot, it is an incredibly popular retreat for outdoor enthusiasts in central Arkansas. The Pickthorne Lake Loop is a highly-rated, easy 2.2-mile out-and-back trail that follows a gravel road between two main parking sections.
