..EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105 possible.
* WHERE...Dawson, Franklin, Furnas, Gosper, Harlan, Kearney, and Phelps Counties.
* WHEN...From Friday morning through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight temperatures only briefly dip into the upper 70s and low 80s. Breezy south winds will provide some relief for outdoor events.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
