It's been a whirlwind week since surgery. It's been restful but also crazy week with a mini family reunion to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday! Our last house guests depart today 🥲

I am feeling quite good! Considering there are still four holes in my abdomen. I can move around pretty well, today is the first day without any Tylenol or Ibuprofen so far. The steristrips over my incisions are starting to come off, so in the next couple days theyll be gone completely.

I have a follow up appointment on the 11th but I'm feeling pretty on track to be up at North House Folk School for a couple weeks at the end of September!!!

The only downside right now is the medical bills are starting to roll in, so I will humbly ask that you peruse the photo prints I have available on my smugmug website to help offset our out of pocket costs.

Surgery went well, went in at 11:15, was home by 4Pm after a little bit extra time recovering from the anesthesia.

Slept until 6ish, got up, ate a small meal, now sleepy and back to bed.

Surgery orders are in, but no date yet, they're going to try to fit me in next week as hoped but who knows when.

So health update, ultrasound confirmed the pretense of gallstones, meaning surgery, but also a few more tests first.

So I'm still working on selling prints to cover our out of pocket costs, not looking forward to the bill from the ER in Decorah 😅

Anyways I've setup a smugmug site to try and streamline the process of ordering prints, and lowering costs for all a bit. It also allows you more flexibility in sizes.

The drawback? They won't be signed, but have a short message printed on the back. 🤷‍♂️ if that's important to you, you can still order through me.
