Excited to announce that I will be offering CUSTOM cyanotype sessions in September and October! Pricing starts at $295 for a framed 6-image grid with options to upgrade on grid size, grid quantity, frame type, and paper type. NO digital images will be given, this is for a CUSTOM, ONE-OF-A-KIND art piece.

it's been two weeks since Art of Surfing ! so very grateful for the love and support before, during, and after the show. getting to share my work is an honor and a privilege, and I am so thankful to Bogy & Le Surf Bungalow & everyone else involved !
I truly hate the pressure to keep up with social media but it's a goal of mine to update my website and start a newsletter this fall to keep in touch regarding upcoming shows and other events (film soup/cyanotype mini sessions?! SOON! ✨)

One of my favorite ways to play with Polaroid is by immediately breaking the film backs and soaking or washing them in ocean water. Sometimes I will lift part of the image out of the frame, other times I lift the whole thing. But I love this effect of a partial lift, where the image is affected by the salt and waves but not completely lost. I think of how the sea has affected me over the course of my life, and how my image has transformed (for the better) because of it ✨
Bringing this and other Polaroid works to Art of Surfing ... countdown: 13 days!

part two! my film soaked for about a day, then sat in rice to dry out for a full week. on my way to drop the rolls off at the post office now, part three will reveal the scans! ✨
