The historic trestle over the Black Warrior River is famously the Mobile & Ohio (M&O) Railroad trestle in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Built in 1898, by Benjamin Hardaway, it was an iconic wooden and steel structure once considered the nation’s longest and a vital link for river/rail transport.
