GJWW has been a place for me to be ME - and this time I chose the context to be behind my camera with portrait shoots. This one is my favorite. There is nothing like the feeling of shooting and knowing in my soul that I am capturing the ultimate moment without even seeing the final product.

Lindsay has introduced me to myself again in ways I forgot I existed, like the joyful, goofy, quirky kid in me that gets excited by the small little details in life. The unusual perspectives. Pauses feel important, and photography lets me do that.

In the words of Andrew Duhon, “someday somehow we got to slow down. Cause all we’ll ever have is right here right now.”
