I’ve been photographing K-9s for more than 10 years and have had the privilege of capturing hundreds of teams. And for me, it’s always about the bond between a handler and their K-9.

When I photograph a team, I try to capture that connection, the trust, loyalty and focus that exists between them in a single image.

So, guess who Andover's K-9 Rex is fixated on?

Yep. His handler. His partner.

Even when the handler isn’t in the frame, you can still see the strength of that bond. It’s in his eyes, his focus and his unwavering attention. By far one of my favorite K-9 photos.

That’s what makes a K-9 team so special. 🐾
