The World Bird Sanctuary in St. Louis County is home to Kathryn G. Favre Foundation Raptor Hospital rehabilitating injured birds of prey, and provides a safe haven for other non-releasable birds. It was a pleasure this past week to go experience these incredible birds and help support the mission and work of this fantastic organization. Having the chance to experience and photograph some of my favorite birds like the bald eagle and barn owl up close was special. If you find yourself in the area, it is absolutely worth a stop! As always, prints are available of these fantastic birds.
