Check out this stunning session! I am so grateful that we were able to get in before all the rain came along and the sunflowers were still happy and bright 🌻

It was a close call, though! When I left home to head to this location, the forecast that had been calling for beautiful, clear skies🌤 suddenly switched up on us! The clouds looked a little dark and scary, so I pulled up my weather app and sure enough, we were suddenly looking at scattered thunderstorms 😱⛈

I touched base with Felicia and we agreed to push our start time back just a tad, and cross our fingers 🤞 and hope for the best. I arrived on-location a tad early so I could gauge the weather in real time from the exact spot we were planning to use. It sprinkled, then it rained, then it stopped, then it rained again, and then it was drizzling by the time the Koenigsfeld family pulled up.

The weather was really playing with my emotions, y'all 🫣

Thankfully, once Felicia got changed into this beautiful client closet dress and Logan got all their littles dressed and camera ready 👗 the rain stopped, the clouds started to thin out, and we got the most gorgeous stormy sky that you'll see below! I was so obsessed with the way it showed up in some of these shots! 😍

Grateful we were able to time it just right and get these gorgeous photos done. I'm in love with the way this gallery turned out and can't wait to share it with everyone! So without further ado, I invite everyone to go take a look at the absolute magic that was created that evening ✨

I swear 😂 every single time I upload a gallery I say it's probably my new favorite...but I really mean it! Each season is so beautiful and fun and special in it's own ways, I love them all!!

Super excited for today! Getting ready to head out for sunflower field reshoots 😍

I'm so excited for these! Last year, the rain really threw off sunflower season and I just barely squeaked in to grab some beautiful shots. I'm grateful the weather this year has been much more hospitable - minus last weekend of course, because that's just my luck 🤪

I have a family today that will be modeling another client closet piece, as well! Y'all are going to be absolutely blown away by how stunning this gown is. I can't wait to show her off! Updates to the website will be coming very soon, including a page exclusively for the closet! I'll showcase each piece I have so you can browse and decide on what you'd like to wear prior to your session 👗

Severe weather may have dampened our sunflower fun today, but that's okay! Time slots will be moved to next Sunday the 23rd.

But you know what will be moved to next Saturday? A FLASH S-A-L-E 💥

I will open up TWO✌️ slots for full sessions (not minis! FULL sessions) next Saturday, at 50% of my usual rate with half down at booking and half due next Friday, if you book with me by tomorrow evening at 7PM✨

Oh man 😩

I know I sent out an email at 1:20 stating today's sessions would proceed, but as tends to happen in Missouri, the forecast has once again updated and our location within Warren County is included in the recently issued Severe Weather alert. Unfortunately, today's mini sessions will be rescheduled.

The backup date is July 23rd! Your chosen time slot for today will be transferred to that date instead. Please reach out ASAP if you are in need of a change and I'll see what I can do!

Happy Friday, everyone! Today has been busy, busy, busy with last minute coordination and prep for sunflower photos! I cannot wait to see how they all turn out, these are by far some of my favorites to photograph!!
