“Wait, my baby is already 6 weeks… is it too late for newborn photos?”
I hear this all the time, mama — and the answer is almost always no. 🤍
The “newborn phase” isn’t a strict 14-day window. It’s the whole squishy, sleepy, brand-new season — and most babies are still deep in it well into month two.
Here’s the honest part: once your little one is more alert, we won’t get every classic curled-up pose. Safety always comes first, and a wiggly, wide-awake baby needs a different approach than a snoozy newborn. But that doesn’t mean the magic is gone — it just means the session looks a little different, with more of their emerging personality and those first real expressions.
So if baby is already here and you’re thinking “did I miss it?” — reach out. There’s still time to capture this season before it’s gone for good.
