The poll is under podcasts. I appreciate everyone who’s liked my picture and voted for me I’m thankful to have so many wonderful friends and family members. If you only liked the picture you can still vote the poll. voting stops on the 20th. I think that’s also when the winners are announced but I’m not sure. I’ll keep everyone updated. ❤️
I think it’s amazing that Register Herald is doing this for local photographers. I love all the pictures submitted in the contest. I think it’s important we all support each other and build each other up because there’s so much negativity in the world these days. To be honest a day or so ago I was scrolling through comments and I read a negative comment about my picture. This wasn’t constructive criticism lol I take it with a grain of salt because I truly love what I do. I know this is my calling. I’m truly happy with a camera in my hands taking pictures of butterflies and bees and landscapes. I’m still learning I learn everyday even though I’ve been taking pictures for over ten years I’m still learning. It’s just sad that people instead of being supportive feel they have to tear each other down. I love every submission to the contest, I think they’re all beautiful. I love seeing all different types of photography and art. Even if I don’t win the contest that doesn’t mean I’ll give up ❤️ I wish the best to whoever wins. It’s not about winning the fact that I got top four is amazing enough to me. That my photography could touch someone is amazing. That someone would go out and buy a paper just because my photography was in it that really means a lot to me. I really do appreciate all the support from you all. ❤️
